Outdoor skills training in Nova Scotia
When children have positive and educational wilderness experiences, they carry with them a respect for nature and the environment and interest in a healthier, more active lifestyle.

Let us put together a 1/2, full day, or overnight program for your school group. As with all of our outdoor programs, safety is ALWAYS number 1.

                                                        Our kids programs include:

                                                        WOLF pack - Outdoor Skills
Wilderness Outdoor Learning is Fun!  Learn how to set up a tent, use self inflating mattresses, safely use a camp stove, hang a tarp, set up a camp washroom, keep a campsite healthy, understand weather.

                                                        Getting lost!
How not to get lost in the woods and what to do if it happens.

Understanding Nova Scotia's flora and fauna
Learning the differences between tree species, rock types and animals

                                                        How to use a GPS
This is another fun filled program designed to teach kids how to use modern GPS unit and find geocaches!

Pack in - Pack IT out
There is tremendous pride for kids in knowing that they helped a natural area look better and become a safer environment for its wildlife and visitors.  Its the kind of experience that helps to extinguish future issues of littering that occur in our wild areas today.

"We pay for our kids to pick up trash?"  Yep, that's right.  This is a clean up project for your communities' wilderness areas.  We provide the staff, gloves, trash grabbers, bags and the truck to haul it all away. The event's cost goes directly to the staff and equipment needed.  This is a not-for-profit event.
