This leisurely paced interpretive walking tour takes place in the small fishing village of Peggy’s Cove. While Peggy’s Cove’s incredible scenery makes it a popular tourist destination, few people get a first hand look at the industry that keeps many of the 40 full time residents employed outside of the tourist season. Next we’re explained the economics of the industry and then meet one of the local fisherman for some Q&A. Afterward we’ll stroll to a fisherman’s wharf for a sampling of lobster and an attempt at hauling a trap up to the wharf for those who are interested. Location: Peggy’s Cove fishing village.
