Emerald coves and beaches of Terrence Bay Wilderness Area

Available in 2021. 5-6 hours, available daily

$145 per person + hst

Custom tour experience for groups of 4-8 persons. Let our experienced guides take you exploring the rugged coastline of the Terrence Bay Wilderness Area. We'll paddle the shore in search of hidden sandy beaches, emerald green coves, crystal clear water and a beautiful waterfall that leads to the ocean.  We'll take a stop at either the waterfall or our favourite cove for  a short hike and a snack. 

This tour includes all necessary equipment and instruction by Paddle Canada certified guides. We require 48 hour advance booking notice.  A portion of the tour cost will be donated to the Peggy's Cove area preservation association.

Prices are in Canadian dollars. This tour requires a minimum of 4 guests booked to operate. Location is approximately 40 minutes from downtown Halifax.

Peggy's Cove / West Dover Kayak Tour with Campfire S'mores & Sunset

Available in 2021. 4 - 5 hours, availble daily

$125.00 per person + hst

Custom tour experience for groups of 4-8 persons. Imagine paddling around coastal islands, fishing coves and quiet inlets to end up at a beautiful island beach for a bonfire with all the fixin's to make s'mores while you watch the sun begin to set.  This adventure is one for the senses.  The tour starts at Shaw's Landing in West Dover en route to Peggy's Cove.  This tour includes all necessary equipment and instruction by Paddle Canada certified guides. We require 48 hour advance booking notice.  A portion of the tour cost will be donated to the Peggy's Cove area preservation association.

Prices are in Canadian dollars. This tour requires a minimum of 4 guests booked to operate. Location is approximately 45 minutes from downtown Halifax.

Peggy's Cove / West Dover morning kayak tour of fishing village and coves

Available in 2021. 3.5 - 4 hours, avaiable daily

$95.00 per person + hst

Custom tour experience available for 4-8 persons. This kayak adventure is magical to say the least. Starting in a picturesque fishing village of West Dover located at the edge of the Peggy's Cove preservation area, we head to the islands and stunning shoreline. A stop for a short hike and view of the lighthouse with a delicious snack is provided.

Accommodations in Fisherman's cove

The Inn at Fisherman's Cove  waterfront historic Inn located directly on the cove. 8 well appointed rooms, and incredible views. 

***COVID 19 UPDATE*** Due to social distancing restrictions and safety practices, all kayak tours will be limited to 8 people and beginners will be required to use tandem kayaks.  All tours will be for groups of 4 to 8 people and will require 48 hours advance booking.  All equipment including, kayak interior, kayak exterior, pfd (life jacket), spray skirts and paddles will be sanitized with a Health Canada approved cleaning solution prior to each use.  Staff will wear masks when necessary. Anyone feeling ill or exhibiting flu like symptoms will not be permitted to participate.  Thank you for your co-operation.
