The expedition
Reaching all three locations from Halifax by road and on foot would realistically take five days or more and require exceptional fitness. Our helicopter journey brings them together in one remarkable day, with three short guided hikes.
Our planned stops take you above Pollett’s Cove, onto Meat Cove Mountain and to Money Point. Each offers a different perspective on the Highlands, from open mountain scenery to the meeting of land and sea.
Walks typically last 45 minutes to an hour at each stop, leaving time to pause, take photographs and enjoy the sense of solitude. Your local guides share their knowledge of the area, and lunch is included.
Between landings, the helicopter reveals the scale of the country you are exploring. Return to Halifax after a day that brings flightseeing and walking together in one memorable journey.
Your route at a glance
The planned journey flies from Halifax via Port Hawkesbury, with hiking stops above Pollett’s Cove, at Meat Cove Mountain and at Money Point, before returning via Sydney to Halifax.
